ARGUS / DISCOVERY INITIATIVE · RESEARCH ACCESS

RESEARCH ACCESS

The ARGUS Discovery Initiative is an institutional research program studying the operational and organizational realities of organizations deploying autonomous and semi-autonomous systems. Participation provides the initiative with structured access to operational evidence, and provides participants with structured, institutional reflection on their own deployment posture.

PURPOSE

ARGUS exists to document, in institutional form, how autonomous operations are actually conducted, supervised, and governed inside the organizations that operate them. Participation contributes directly to the published research record of the initiative.

WHY ORGANIZATIONS PARTICIPATE

  • — Receive institutional reflection on operational and organizational posture.
  • — Position the organization within the ARGUS research record.
  • — Contribute to the durable archive of how autonomous operations are actually run.
  • — Access to ARGUS findings and reports referencing the participant cohort.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All participation occurs under institutional confidentiality. Operational material is held within the ARGUS archive and is not disclosed to other participants. Published outputs are aggregated, anonymized, or attributed only with prior written consent.

PARTICIPATION PROCESS

  1. STAGE I · Organizational Qualification Assessment. Establishes operational posture relevant to ARGUS research scope.
  2. STAGE II · Operational Discovery Questionnaire. Characterization of fleet, sites, supervision, and incidents.
  3. STAGE III · Organizational Modeling Questionnaire. Governance, accountability, and escalation architecture.
  4. STAGE IV · Executive Discovery Interview. Structured conversation with senior operational leadership.

PARTICIPANT DELIVERABLES

Participants receive acknowledgement of contribution to the ARGUS archive, structured feedback at the close of Stage IV, and access to ARGUS reports referencing the participant cohort upon publication.

ELIGIBILITY

Participation is open to operating organizations deploying autonomous or semi-autonomous systems in production or advanced pilot environments. ARGUS does not engage with consultancies, software-only vendors, or organizations without first-party operational exposure.

APPLY FOR PARTICIPATION

Applications are reviewed by the initiative. Upon admission, participants receive credentials to the ARGUS Research Participation Portal and are admitted to Stage I.
